Before he wrote his first story, Aaron wrote songs. Inspired by music artists such as Harry Chapin, Blues Traveler, Smashing Pumpkins, Crash Test Dummies, Johnny Cash, Tori Amos, Tom Waits, Flogging Molly and countless others, Aaron's first artistic love was making music. Unlike his fiction, he based the majority of his songs on personal experience rather than imagination.
